TECHXTILE ENTREPRENEURS ARE ONE STEP CLOSER TO THE FINAL IN THE START-UP MARATHON

In the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge, where Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Association (UTİB) aims to bring new entrepreneurs and useful projects to the textile and  clothing sector; Another important step was taken for the final to be held on December 9th. The Evaluation Board, which includes the leading names of the sector and university faculty members, watched the project presentations of the entrepreneurs online and determined the candidates who made it to the finals.

Stating that they will continue to work on behalf of entrepreneurship in the textile vertical, UTİB Chairman of the Board Pınar Taşdelen Engin, in her speech at the opening of the meeting; said that the process is progressing successfully and that they have left another important step behind. Stating that all the project owners made a successful presentation with the contribution of the training they received from the beginning, Engin said, “All the entrepreneurs we evaluated here will have the chance to introduce their projects at the final. We have a jury of experts in the field, so we are very lucky. That’s why the work we do is very important in the first place. I am confident that all the members of the evaluation board will carry the right projects to the final, both voluntarily and by believing in these projects.”

Stating that they constantly think about what they can do for entrepreneurship and try to add innovations to the program every year, Pınar Taşdelen Engin said, “TechXtile Start-Up Challenge, which has turned into an entrepreneurship platform in cooperation with UTİB, UHKİB, BTSO, BEBKA, and BUTEKOM, continues to respond to an important need in the sector. It makes us happy that this program, which we started, has attracted interest from entrepreneurs across the country. “We will grow bigger every year,” She said.
